Crossover Update from Virginia’s 2025 General Assembly Session
As of this Tuesday, we have reached “crossover” – the day that bills introduced and passed in one chamber of the General Assembly must “cross over” to be voted on by the other. VCN provides an update on the remaining conservation bills in this (super) short session.
Bill of the Day: Defending the Virginia Clean Economy Act
We must continue advocating for the Virginia Clean Economy Act (VCEA) to ensure a healthy future for all Virginians.
Bill of the Day: Ending Plastic Pellet Pollution
Virginia must take immediate action to reduce or eliminate plastic pellet pollution.

Leveraging smarter land use, expanding alternatives to driving, and electrifying transportation to reduce carbon emissions and lower vehicle miles traveled.
CLIMATE & ENERGY
Responsibly developing clean energy infrastructure, ramping up energy efficiency and solar investments, and ensuring an equitable transition to a clean energy economy.
GOOD GOVERNANCE
Achieving our conservation efforts through an equitable and inclusive government, with policies and programs that represent and benefit all Virginians
