Election years provide nonprofits great opportunities to highlight issues and interact with voters and candidates. However, there are many barriers that can prevent 501(c)3 nonprofits from engaging in election year advocacy. This virtual training series is for VCN Network Partner Organizations who want to build upon their advocacy efforts during the election season.

This training series will cover:

• How 501(c)3 organizations can legally advocate during election years
• How to spot and combat disinformation in our media environment
• How 501(c)3 organizations participate in civic engagement through different case studies

This training series is FREE for staff, board members, and lead volunteers of VCN Partners. These trainings will be held and recorded over Zoom on the following dates: 

• How 501(c)(3)s Can Educate and Advocate During Election Season: August 22nd, 10:00 am – 11:30 am
• Election Integrity & Disinformation: August 28th, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Case Studies in Nonprofit Election Advocacy Campaigns: August 29th, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
