VCU’s Institute for Sustainable Energy and Environment (ISEE) and the VCU Wilder School Center for Public Policy have released a report updating a 2020 VCU study. The original study assessed the potential job creation and economic benefits from installing 2,500 megawatts (MW) of new distributed solar generation capacity in Virginia. The current report examines whether progress is on track to meet the 2,500 MW target and outlines various challenges that could hinder achieving this goal.
