This year’s General Electiosn are on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. Voters will be able to vote on Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Virginia House of Delegates, and various local offices. We have the opportunity to unite our voices and make a lasting change that will build a strong future for our families and communities — Get Out the Vote!

First day of in-person early voting at your local registrar’s office Friday, September 19, 2025
Deadline to register to vote/update your voter registration. *(Voters may register after this date, through Election Day, and vote using a provisional ballot). Friday, October 24, 2025
Deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you Friday, October 24, 2025
Saturday early voting Saturday, October 25, 2025
Last day of in-person early voting at your local voter registration office (5 PM deadline) Saturday, November 1, 2025
GENERAL ELECTIONS + Deadline to register/update your voter registration IN-PERSON Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Voter Checklist

  • Check your voter registration status.

  • Go to the Virginia Department of Elections’ Citizen Portal to register to vote; update your current Virginia voter registration; apply to vote absentee by mail; and view your polling place, election district, absentee ballot status, and voting history.

    *Make sure to update your registration if you’ve moved or your name has changed since you last voted!

  • See who is on your ballot by viewing the candidate lists.

  • Make a plan on how you’re going to vote, whether it’s carpooling to your local polling office or voting by mail.

  • Get out there and vote!
